All About the Walla Walla Spring Fling 2020

When and Where

The seventh annual Walla Walla Spring Fling doesn’t have official 2020 dates announced just yet, but the festival traditionally takes place on the second weekend of May, at the iconic Pioneer Park on Whitman Street. The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and end at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Walla Walla Spring Fling Events

Prepare yourself for some of the best entertainment you’ve ever experienced! Best of all, the entertainment and festival admission are both completely free of charge!  The Walla Walla Spring Fling will be three days of numerous performances, all head outside in the great outdoors so everyone can appreciate the lovely weather. Guests can bring their picnic blankets or lawn chairs and settle down to watch the entertainment. In past years, the festival has featured the fearless stunts of the Wa Hi Cheerleaders or Roy Dodd’s timeless tribute to Elvis!
Every year, the live entertainment will be accompanied by tasty treats from local companies, like Genie’s Catering, Walla Walla Shave Ice, and Jim Antram’s Ice Cream Gazebo.  Vendors will be set up throughout the park, offering gifts and items for purchase.

About Pioneer Park

Walla Walla’s oldest park, Pioneer Park dates all the way back to 1902.  Its spacious 58 acres offer abundant room for kids to play and exercise; soccer fields, tennis courts, softball fields, and walking paths are provided.  You wander through the roses of their gorgeous gardens, admire the wedding fountain, or even explore their free outdoor aviary! Here, you make some new feathered friends, including ducks, peacocks, geese, pheasants, swans, and more.  This is definitely a must-see highlight of Walla Walla, WA.
