Its goal is facilitating the creation, acquisition, and education of public art. What Is ArtWalla?

ArtWalla is an organization that strives to support all kinds of arts in Walla Walla, including education, theater, public arts, concerts, dance performances, and much more. As a part of supporting local artists, ArtWalla hosts a variety of events to show off the skills and talents of their community.

What Are Some of the Best ArtWalla Events?

Get a look at the art yourself! ArtWalla hosts some wonderful monthly and annual events. This includes the famous First Friday Art Tour, also known as the Walla Walla Artwalk. This walking tour is held from May to October, during the first Friday of the month, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This tour features locally owned galleries, wineries, restaurants, and businesses.
Another great annual festival is ArtSquared. Held every year during the fall, this showcase displays nearly 1,000 works priced at just $36! This fundraiser helps support ArtWalla for the rest of the year. It also as gives artists a platform to show off their works!
A newer festival is the Dia de Los Muertos Steamroller Paint Project. This massive community event is inspired by the “Day of the Dead,” a popular holiday in Latin America that pays tribute to departed friends and family. This free event brings more than 1,000 visitors to town. It features face-painting, a Shakespearean-themed “Pageant of the Dead,” dance performances and more!
