One of the best ways to spend a morning in Walla Walla is with a round of golf at the Wine Valley Golf Club. It can get warm in the summer months, but if you book an early morning tee time, you’ll beat the heat and find this course challenging and rewarding. Imagined by Dan Hixson, former professional golfer turned designer, this grand 18-hole course offers multiple lines of play per hole for any level of experience and acumen.
The Wine Valley Golf Club is set in the shadow of the Blue Mountains, just about 15 minutes away from downtown Walla Walla. The lush green grounds are a stunning contrast to the expansive blue sky of the Valley. While the Wine Valley Golf Club is one of our favorites for a round, there a handful of other courses near Walla Walla and many amazing clubs in the Tri-Cities area. If golfing is a hobby of yours, this is a great place to explore.
Our Walla Walla Bed and Breakfast is a perfect lodging location for a golf getaway in Washington, we’re only 20 minutes from the Wine Valley Golf Club and only about a half hour from the popular courses in the Tri-Cities.
