The expansive estate and visitor’s center is not only a space to learn about Washington wine but also one of the most picturesque backdrops for tasting some fine examples of varietals and terroir. The founders of Waterbrook Winery were pioneers in Walla Walla winemaking and helped to create a community of like-minded farmers and producers to put this area on the map.
Since its humble beginnings in 1984, Waterbrook Winery has become a fixture in the Walla Walla and Columbia Valleys with award-winning wines, many with 90+ points. The estate vineyards have plantings of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay. As they say at Waterbrok Winery, a glass of wine here is “what Washington tastes like.”
