    1. Seven Hills Winery: This tasting room is located in the historic Whitehouse-Crawford building in downtown Walla Walla. The space has been renovated with bright white walls and beautiful refinished original pine flooring—the perfect atmosphere for sipping through their Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines.
    2. Goose Ridge Winery: Located right in the heart of downtown, you’ll taste some fantastic Red Mountain AVA wines —an area home to some of the best Walla Walla wineries known for producing the finest big, bold Cabernets and Syrahs.
    3. Mark Ryan Winery: This elegant downtown tasting room is the ideal place to try this stalwart wineries label’s “The Dissident” and “Dead Horse.” Two of which are perfectly blended and soft on the palate.
    4. Spring Valley Vineyard: You’ll find indoor and outdoor seating at this downtown tasting room; try the “Winemaker’s Flight,” which includes four red wines from their reserve collection. Relax in the comfy chairs and learn more from knowledgeable wine ambassadors.
    5. House of Smith: Winemaker Charles Smith is the visionary behind K Vintners and Substance Wines, both of which you can have at the downtown tasting room in a converted auto-repair warehouse.
    6. Gramercy Cellars: This local Walla Walla winery creates light oak and lower alcohol wines, known as perfect pairing wines. Head here to enjoy a flight of five to six pours of these beautiful wines.
    7. Foundry Vineyards: Wine tastings here are best enjoyed in the sculpture garden surrounded by local artists’ work. Flight selection will vary according to availability and season; be sure to add a few small bites to pair.
    8. Barons Winery: This local Walla Walla winery is known for its delicious classic Bordeaux-style red and white grape varietals.
